Kapitol Punishment is a dark dramedy and satire of Washington DC politics—set in Nova Washington, a simulated version of the capital, complete with corrupt lobbyists. It follows Eleanor Grace Morales (EGM), a newly elected Congresswoman from Texas who serves as the moral conscience of the show.

Eleanor represents an idealist stepping into the morally decaying halls of power, and to highlight this contrast, you'll notice that all the politicians (except Eleanor) have bloodshot eyes and a visually turbulent outline—symbolizing the corruption and chaos within the system. Eleanor stands out as the only uncorrupted figure, emphasizing her moral struggle.
